Whoever has a baby will at some stage require a portable baby crib and portable crib bedding. Sooner or later you are going to get the urge to leave the house and spend some time elsewhere, whether it is a weekend away, a holiday, or just visiting friends. It’s always worth buying extra sheets when buying portable crib bedding as babies do have little accidents and there’s nothing worse than running out of bedding at that critical moment when you are both tired and irritable and the crib is a mess.

This will include blankets of varying togs so that your baby will be warm enough whenever you are traveling. I’ve found from experience that rather than trying to buy all your portable crib bedding at once for every eventuality, just buy the portable crib bedding you need for the trip you are going on. It’ll save you money and hassle in the long term doing it this way.

Nowadays, there is not so much of a need for portable crib bedding such as blankets due to a new form of baby bedding called the sleeping bag. This is exactly the same as an adult sleeping bag but designed for babies, so it’s smaller. We initially tried using blankets with our son, but soon found he would either wiggle out of the blankets or completely disappear underneath them, either of which would wake him up.

As we travel a lot, we really need portable crib bedding, and when we were told about these baby sleeping bags we rushed out to buy some and have never looked back. Now our son is kept warm at night and doesn’t wiggle out of his blankets and wake up because he is cold. It also makes traveling much easier as we are not packing loads of portable crib bedding, just a couple of sheets and sleeping bags.

Of course, you can always resort to traditional methods of going to shops and stores and finding portable crib bedding there. Personally, I love shopping online as I avoid the crowds, queues and hassles of trying to find what I want in a shop.
